I treasure being a pediatric dentist. Nothing is more rewarding than to see the look of pride on a child’s face as they realize “I did a good job!” That joy is contagious and obvious to everyone who witnesses it: their parents, my team, and I all applaud their accomplishment and shower them with praise.
It is incredible to work with children – infants, kids, teens, and youth with special physical or emotional needs – supporting and encouraging each as they grow. By providing a safe and respectful space, where each is treated with patience and kindness, my team and I empower our patients develop a lifetime of healthy smiles.
Each child is unique, as is each family. My team and I understand this and strive to deliver the highest quality of clinical dentistry in a manner that exceeds expectations with every interaction. In partnering with parents, and involving them in their child’s dental care, we ensure each little one grows up with a healthy, radiant smile and feels comfortable in the dental environment!
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Arts in Biology, University of Texas in Austin
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery, University of Texas Health Science Center
- Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, University of Texas Health Science Center
I had a wonderful dentist when I was a child. He became my mentor through college and dental school, encouraging me to pursue my professional goals while providing support and guidance.
I graduated from my Pediatric Dentistry Residency in 1993 and have led my own practice since 2000.
One of the most exciting aspects of pediatric dentistry is the ongoing research that results in new approaches to care. I seek out continuing educational opportunities that benefit my patients, their families, and my team. This might be learning how to incorporate a new technology into diagnostics or treatment, a new technique that makes a procedure more comfortable, or a simpler approach that delivers a better result.
Participating in webinars, attending lectures and meetings, volunteering, and teaching, are all part of my commitment to my patient family. By staying at the forefront of the latest options, I ensure I am providing the most up-to-date treatment, most pleasant experience, and lasting, healthy results.

Beyond the Office
I grew up in Houston, lived in Belton for 18 years, and then moved to a ranch in Moody a few years ago with my husband of over 30 years, Brad. He and I were high school sweethearts. We have two grown children, Lauren and Phillip, who have completed college and work in their chosen professions. I also have two Longhorn steers as really big pets: Mack and Charlie!
Outside of work I am active in my church and young mothers groups. I desire to give back in appreciation for all I have received and to strengthen our community for all.
In what spare time I can find, I love reading, enjoy cooking, travel when we have time, and treasure being with family, loved ones, and friends.
